Treneta Bowden is a dynamic, award-winning Indigenous artist, speaker, author, coach, trainer, and passionate advocate for hope, healing, restoration, and purpose. Through her music, speaking, and ministry, Treneta brings a life-giving message that reminds people that every life matters, they are deeply valued, and they can rise beyond adversity into their God-given purpose.
Her music carries powerful messages of hope, healing, faith, resilience, and perseverance. Her award-winning and nominated songs, including “Rise Again,” “Soar Like an Eagle,” “Hold On,” and others, have encouraged and inspired people across First Nations communities, churches, conferences, organizations, and community events.
Treneta has walked alongside individuals and families impacted by grief and loss, suicide, trauma, the legacy of Residential Schools, divorce, broken relationships, addiction, and other life challenges. Her passion is to help people move from pain toward purpose, discover their value and identity, experience restoration, and rise with renewed hope and strength.
Treneta has received multiple nominations and awards through the GMA Canada Awards dating back to 2005, recognizing her contribution to Indigenous music.

Her music has been featured and broadcast through First Nations and Christian media, including Wawatay Radio, CBC Radio, KFM 103.5, WDCX 99.5, and television programming such as 100 Huntley Street - Yes Tv and the former Grace TV. Her songs and messages have also been shared at First Nations conferences, community gatherings, churches, corporate events, and concerts.
Her songs “Rise Again” and “Soar Like an Eagle” were written with a special dedication to First Nations people, carrying messages of resilience, hope, identity, and the courage to rise again.
Her album “Hold On” continues this message of hope and perseverance, encouraging listeners to never give up and to remember that their lives have value and purpose.
Treneta's message is deeply personal. Having experienced significant adversity throughout her life—including moving through six foster homes, violence in the home, drug and alcohol abuse within her family, divorce, and profound loss—she understands what it means to face painful circumstances and continue moving forward.
Her story is one of resilience, restoration, faith, and transformation.
Through her personal testimony, music, and speaking, Treneta shares how she has learned to press forward from pain to purpose and soar like an eagle. Her desire is to help others recognize that their circumstances do not have to define their future.
She encourages people to discover their identity, embrace their God-given purpose, understand their value, and experience healing in their personal, relational, spiritual, and leadership journeys.
As a Certified John Maxwell Speaker, Coach & Trainer, owner of Healing 4 You, and President and Founder of Faith Arise Ministries, Treneta is passionate about helping individuals, leaders, families, and communities grow and flourish.
Her work focuses on personal development, relational restoration, spiritual growth, leadership development, encouragement, and positive influence. She challenges people to recognize the value in themselves and others and become encouragers who bring hope, strength, and positive influence to those around them.
